«Save the goose» is a short and simple text adventure game, it is created as an assignment for Programming class I am taking. The game had to be created with JavaScript only.
Some facts:
1. This game is inspired by a text adventure game I played in early 00s, it is called "Dungeons of the black castle".
2. This game was created with great help of Lamzak! Man, you’re awesome, this wouldn’t be possible without you, thank you so much!
3. The final boss – the evil warlock is a reference to an amazing lecturer at my university – Tom Heine Nätt. He is my favorite and therefore he often appears in my creations.
4. Yes, I love geese.
5. Though it is not mentioned in the game itself, the main character’s name is Dennis.
6. Lavender appears in the story because that is the fragrance of the perfume I wore while writing the story.
7. While fighting the first boss you can find references to some of my social media channels.
8. The game is in English and not Norwegian because I wanted my non-norwegian friends to be able to play it too.
9. “Hug the goose” is a reference to a sweet Youtube video:
